    Dr. Stewart Perim and Dr. Maria Perez-Mera work as a husband-wife team striving for one common goal – to provide their patients with the highest quality periodontal and orthodontic care available in Salisbury, Maryland.




    Stewart Perim, D.D.S., M.S.

    Dr. Stewart Perim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been providing top-notch periodontal and orthodontic care for his patients since 1981. He attendedGeorgetown University Dental School, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has completed numerous residency programs including a Periodontal Residency from the University of Maryland, an Orthodontic Residency from Tufts Dental School and implant training from Harvard Dental School.

    Dr. Perim is a published author and has offered lectures to the public on various dental topics. He is committed to continuing education, and maintains memberships with theAmerican Dental AssociationAmerican Academy of PeriodontologyAmerican Association of OrthodontistsMaryland State Dental AssociationEastern Shore Dental Society and theAcademy of Osseointegration.

    He is active in his community, volunteering as an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America and supporting the Salvation Army.


    Maria Perez-Mera, D.D.S.

    Dr. Maria Perez-Mera received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School and completed a Periodontal Residency from New York University, as well as implant training from Harvard Dental School. She has been providing periodontal care for her patients since 1986.

    Dedicated to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Perez-Mera maintains her membership with the American Academy of Periodontology. She is a published author and has spoken publically on various dental topics.

    She stays active in her community and is a proud supporter of the Salvation Army. Dr. Perim and Perez-Mera are married and have two sons, Max and Ross.

    Maxwell Perim obtained his Bachelors in Fine Arts Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, graduating with college and university honors, and plans to pursue a Masters in Art Management. Max taught art to elementary, middle school and high school students during the summer of 2012, and he currently works at the Warhol Museum and Carnegie Mellon.

    Ross Perim is currently a junior with a business concentration at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. Ross worked for the Pepsi Company in Salisbury in marketing and distribution, and is currently interning at at APPI Energy.
